I just got a new computer with windows 7 on it and upgraded to Signlab 9.1. Now when the system boots up I get a black screen that says: NTLDR IS MISSING, PRESS ANY KEY TO RESTART. I press a key and the system finishes booting. I researched and Microsoft's first suggestion was to make sure there were no discs or drives in the system. I removed the dongle and the sytstem booted normally, so the dongle seems to be the cause of the issue. When I replace the dongle the message reappears upon start up again. Is there any fix for this? I'm still waiting for my permanent password, so the Signlab program I have is a trial version till I get that. Could that be the problem? Confused

No, it won't be the password that does this. You need to look at the boot sequence in the setup of your PC, it will have choices like \"boot from CD/DVD\", \"boot from fixed disk\", and \"boot from USB device\" etc., as a rough guide boot from DVD, then fixed disk, then anything else. That should stop the error, hopefully.

To get to setup you usually press F2 when the PC is starting, but it does vary from PC to PC.

Thanks for the help. It looks like it was trying to load the dongle before even recognizing the motherboard. In any event, it loads correctly now & I am a happy guy. Very Happy Thank you.
