I have ProfileLab 5 and am outputing to file on the computer, Standard G Code which will be used on the shop computer in Mach 3 I can generate the G code with X and Y values but the Z value is always 0.000. It doesn't matter what depth I set in the basic cut page I always get 0 for the z value in the output editor. Anyone have any Ideas what is going on?

I more or less forget how ProfileLab 5 works.
I assume you are cretaing toolpaths and assigning them a depth.
I honestly forget how thats done in ProfileLab 5.

But anyway, the main reason you may not be getting depth in your output, is that you are currently configured to output Contour data and not Toolpath data.
Go to Cut/Plot
In that dialog, you should in the middle "Options" with about 7 checkboxes.
One of the Checkoxes, about 6 down, should be "Engrave" or "Rout"
If there is a checkmark beside it, remove the checkmark.
Then readd a checkmark to that box.
Another dialog should appear called "ToolPath Options"
Put a Dot in Cut ToolPaths.
Remove any checkmark from Also Cut Contour Paths.
Click on OK.
The click on SAVE DEFAULT back in the Plot dialog.
You must click on SAVE DEFAULT or you lose all your changes.
