Unique Sign Making Needs
Market: Signage For The “Visually Impaired” (ADA Signage)
This technology requires translation of text into Braille and subsequent output of human readable text plus the Braille translation of the text in a special layout as determined by the rules of the American Disabilities Act.
CADlink Custom Solution:
Cadlink supplies the Braille translator for text and has also coded the ADA rules such that when text is created that is to be used in an ADA compliant sign, we auto translate and position the Braille dots under the text. The selection of fonts and their kerning , line spacing, etc. conforms to ADA rules.
