TOPIC: Moving Machining Origin?

Moving Machining Origin? 4 months 1 week ago #5706

Hello,

I would like to move the machining origin from the bottom LH corner to centre of part, so that the G-code generated from profilelab is in the direct centre of part.

Is this possible? I cannot seem to move it from it's existing position.

I've attached a screengrab below:

I think all you need to do is go to Machine > Machining Defaults > Setup.
In the lower part of the window you can specify the Origin and End Point by clicking on one of the squares in each grid.

If you have the Profilelab Manual, look to pages 30-32 for more information.
