My signlab 9.1 locked up yesterday. Today, I went to cut something I had printed that was in the vpm. It was missing along with the actual queue for the printer.

Any ideas? I did do an update this morning after I had this issue, it didn't fix it.

This is a known issue for older versions of VPM. Improper or forced shut downs of VPM can cause queues to be missing or corrupt. It is fixed in the latest version of VPM 5.21

Get the latest available updates for your SignLab and VPM.

So is there a way to get back all the spooled and completed jobs? Or am I just out of luck?

There is a support video on this site for Update SignLab.
Support and Training > Support Videos > Update SignLab.

Updating SignLab will automatically update VPM, though updating VPM are the same steps.

Unfortunately, no, there is nothing that can be done once a queue file is corrupted. You will have to recreate a new queue and resend your print and cut jobs.

Hi,

Just had the same issue with a print queue going missing - google brought me here.
I followed the instructions to update but have hit small stumbling block.

The patcher updates Signlab to the latest build just fine, but when it comes to patching VPM I get

the following message:

Software Not Found
Visual Production Manager could not be located on your system. Please run Update Visual Production Manager from Start/Programs/Signlab

This I do, but get the same error.

Running on Windows 7.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
