TOPIC: VPM holding errors since win 10 update

VPM holding errors since win 10 update 1 year 3 months ago #5071

Since win 10 update I have had an holding error on all print jobs sent to VPM for output to Mimaki JV3sp. Had to print all jobs with old Shiraz rip. Anyone had similar errors or any resolution to the problem? VPM ver 5.22.00 Build 6034. Signlab 9.1 Rev 1. Build 8. Latest updates?

FIXED. Installed latest Mimaki driver (With help from Ray at Cadlink) and now printing from Signlab to VPM ok.

Hi Jeff,
I assume you are cutting via VPM, so go to Queue > Manage Queues find the queue you are cutting to, what port is selected for that queue? (You can expand the port field to see the whole name if needed). Click Close.
Try and send a cut job to the Graphtec, it will error, then right click the job and choose:
Properties > Show For Page Output > Other > Log

Select the final 15 (ish) lines of the log and paste them in a reply along with the port from above. I will then have a better idea of what is going wrong.

Yes I use vpm to cut and I also tried downloading the latest driver and I still got the hold error so considering I had a big job to finish I went back to Windows 7 and things started to work again I also had a major problem with another graphics program that Win. 10 didn't like.

I also reloaded SL 9.1 after going back to Windows 7 so I'm unable to send the log files but I do have win 10 on my laptop with SL 9.1 so I will test it after I finish this job.

In manage queues, which port is selected for the graphtec?
