I have SL 9.1 on one computer and DL 9.1 on another computer. In DL the job palette does not show.

When the job palette box is checked in the view drop-down menu, a small icon appears where the job palette should be. The icon has cyan, magenta, yellow and black horizontal stripes behind a yellow warning triangle enclosing a black exclamation mark. Yet, there is no job palette.

WHY? What do I need to do to have the job palette show?

DL? What Product is this? (not one I am familiar with here in the UK).

The Job Palette has two modes All Colours View and Spot Colours View.
You are seeing it in Spot Colours View mode, and do not have any Spot Colours in the job.
Click the button [...] on the job palette and change to All Colours View.

Thanks Ray,

That did the trick.

By the way, DL is DesignLab. It does everything SignLab does, except that you can not output to plotters or printers. You can send files by email or across a LAN to another computer that has SignLab. It allows you to have a design station without the expense of the full version.
