I recently had to reinstall Signlab 9.1 build 8 after a clean install of window 10. While setting up my preferences I made a new group in the font detective window. It showed up in the smart bar list. Today . . . two days later, I created a new group and it will not appear in the smart bar list.

Can you send an image to illustrate what you mean?
In Font Detective, once you have created the group, you should just need to click the [Select] button when the font group is selected.

A couple of days ago I created the "Western - Rope - Log" group . . . added fonts and it appeared in the drop down menu as shown with the selected fonts within it. Yesterday I tried to add "Old English" along with two others through the same process and they don't appear in the drop down menu . . . as shown in this screen shot.

I have restarted Signlab and rebooted the computer.

Hi Jeff,
When you have created the group and loaded with fonts you need to press the select button highlighted in the attached image. That should add it to the the initial font list as a group.

If it does not show when you do that, it could be the the file or folder it writes to (Signlab\Fonts\CDLFont.MDB), is write protected.
