SignLab Layers 2 years 3 months ago #5508

Hey.

I got SignLab 9.1

How Do I / Is is possible to export a layered PDF file from Signlab? I setup my print job in layers. So When That I can disable and enable certain portions of it. But When I Export to a PDF File or even a Adobe Illustrator file, it just shows up as 1 layer?

Help? Suggetsions?

No, it is not possible, it will always be flattened to one layer when you export as PDF.

Okey thanks for the quickl reply.

How about defining colors in PDF? So that you can define one color as cutcountour for cutting viniyls? Like you can in layers on Adobe Illustrator.

Yes you can do that, all you need to do is define a Spot Colour with the name CutContour (or whatever name you need), that colour is then defined in PDF, EPS, etc as a Spot colour.

Alright. Thanks for the quick and effectice response.

Another thing I want to ask about SignLab though on a different topic is how do you make the custom toolbar save after program restart. I can save it as a profile but it doesnt stick and I have to manually select it each time Sign Lab is launched.

Suggestions??

Another thing aswell.

Just a bunch of thing at the same time.

On your support page it says that Windows 10 require build 8.

Our Version Shows 9.1 Revision 1. Revision Build shows 13995M?

Is that the latest one ? Because production date is marked at April 2015 before the release of Windows 10.
