About 2 weeks ago my cursor started moving objects in 1" jumps. It used to be smooth and I could p[lace things anywhere. I have searched the index and help and can't figure out how to fix this. I am using Signlab 8.0 ver 1 Build 4059.
My Signlab Cut Pro 8.0 ver 1 build 6424 works perfect yet.
Thanks, Joe

Go to Options/Grid and remove the checkmark from Snap To Grid

Thanks. That fixed it.
I noticed that show grid was also checked, but I don't see a grid so that's why I didn't think snap to grid would apply. I don't see a grid whether Show Grid is checked or not. Snap to grid is on if checked even if Show grid is not checked.
Thanks again.
Signlab can do just about anything I can think of, if I can just find it in there!

Go to Options/Grid
You need a checkmark beside Show Grid as Lines to see Lines.
Otherwise they should be small crosses.

OR
Under Options/Workspace colors, you have Grid Color set to White

I have the grid color set to grey and I also tried yellow and neither lines nor crosses show up when the Show grid as lines is checked.
AHAA! I need to have Show Grid checked under Options. I can change the size of the grid under General Preferences.
Thank You!
