I switched from signlab8 to signlab10 print&cut 64-bit on windows7, my printer is a HP L360. When printing bitmaps, regardless how many passes, it prints absolut slow. It behaves like i had set a inter pass delay, but it's set to 0. Printing the same file to the same printer via Onyx takes just a third of time. It seems the VPM sends Data too slow to the printer, any solutions?

Can you try something for me. Open VPM and ensure nothing is being processed or printed.
Go to Queue > Manage Queues.
Make a note of the current port for the HPL360 (TCP/IP Network port? click the button[...] to display the IP address)
Change the port on the HP360 queue to File
Print a job that has previously been slow. It will open a save dialog, save the job to your desktop (you can use any name).

Once this is done, in VPM go to Tools > Direct to Port, choose the port for your HPL360, then drag the prn file you have created and drop it on to the small Direct to Port window.

This will send the file to the printer. Is the speed the same as before?

If the speed is good in this test, go to Tools > Options > Processing, reduce the value here to 1.

Now go back to Queue > Manage Queues and set the HP L360 back to the original port, and make a print test again.

Hi rayw,
Thanks for your reply, i tried printing direct to port and it printed in normal, good speed. Reducing the processing to 1 didn't have the desired effect, it was again printing absolutly slow.
