TOPIC: Signlab 10 Print and Cut Trail

Signlab 10 Print and Cut Trail 2 months 2 weeks ago #5806

We use SignLab 9.1 every day, and recently downloaded the trial version of SignLab 10.
At first glance everything seems great, but I have stumbled upon a few issues.
In the documents about the new version, it states that .cdr can be imported. But I get an error message, saying error reading the file. Tried a few different .cdr files and same issue. Any suggestions for a solution?
Another issue, when I try to open or import a file with spot colors, created in Signlab 9,1, Signlab 10 changes that spot color to process RGB, and discards the name and developer information, it keeps the pen number though.
How can I get the files, with all my spot colors intact into Signlab 10?

We do not have a .CDR (Coreldraw) import filter. We add a "send to" button to Coredraw which allows the open job in Corel to be transferred to the Signlab workspace.

If you have updated to a like for like package, you should be able to open files created in Signlab 9.1 with spot colours.
If you have updated to a lesser package then this may not be possible.
