TOPIC: Pallete

Pallete 2 months 1 week ago #5807

I have just reinstalled v10 on a new machine and having problem with pallets

I open a manufacture pallet and save, next time I open Signlab it appears very briefly and then disappears I then have to re load each time

Also how do I get rid of the letters/numbers in the colour boxes

Thanks
David

Click on Options/ Palette. Near the bottom , you will see Show Layer Numbers.
Remove the checkmark

Load you palette . Near the bottom left corner of you screen where the palette is located, you will see a button with 3 dots in it. Click on it, click on Save and then on Save Default on exit.

Do you have a Shop palette on the right hand side of your screen?
It should have a box 3 buttons. Click on it, click on Save and then on Save Default on exit.

And it seems you cant remove the numbers from the manufacturer palette.

On my old machine the numbers are not showing and the saved manufactures pallet opens every time - v10 build 16839

On the new machine which has v10 build 17052 installed there are problems as advised which are not on previous build

See screen grabs - Same manufacturer palette used

on both

Ok, I finally figured out what is happening.

The top palette you see is a manufacturers palette (no button[...] and layer numbers always on)
The lower palette is the SHOP palette.

You need to use View > Palettes > show Shop Palette
You should then see a palette at the bottom with the button[...], click the button, choose Load > Set Default, choose the palette you want as default, click Save.
Now use File > New to load Signlab with your new default palette.

As Frank said before to switch the layer number off click [...] and choose "Show Layer Numbers".
