TOPIC: Signlab 8 fails to properly import

Signlab 8 fails to properly import 1 year 5 months ago #5977

So i recently started working for a local sign company and recently noticed that after a windows 7 update that our version of Signlab 8 wouldn't let us properly import .cdl files we had on hand.

So for example: Lets say I tried to import a vector of a small paw print vector file "paw.cdl". That file would import properly, but lets say I wanted to import the vector of a dog "dog.cdl" into the same "paw.cdl" file. Before the update i could pull both of them into the same open file and manipulate them as needed by using the import command. Now it will ask me to save/close "paw.cdl" and in turn open "dog.cdl". At this point I'm not sure what we should do and well i'm pretty sure my boss isn't going to upgrade to version 10.

So if anyone's got an idea as to what to do, that would be greatly appreciated.

When you Import, make sure you have the Merge option checked.
