Bought new FC8600 in Nov. 2016. SignLab tech helped me connect thru router via TCP/IP.
Went on vacation, came back and cannot cut. So assuming connection went down (I took my computer on vacation too). Can you help me get reconnected.

-text cut works
-confirmed IP from computer Device & Printers sames as SignLab Plotter Setup port (however it was incorrect and changed to the numbers from Device properties).

Thanks

This is potentially way too complicated to solve via a forum, but here goes.

Have a look in Signlab and check the IP address that Signlab is trying to send data to.
(Cut > Plotting defaults > Setup > Port). Make a note of the IP address.

Now look at your cutter, press Menu > Up arrow > Down Arrow > key 2
Look at what is showing alongside 1 & 2.
1. DHCP
2.IP

Look at 2 first, is this the same as the value you have in Signlab? (they need to match).
If they are different you could change the value in Signlab to match that on the cutter, that should make it work.

If you do that, also look at the setting 1 on the graphtec. If it shows DHCP - ON, change it to DHCP -OFF, otherwise it is likely to change again if the plotter is disconnected for any lengthy period.

Thank you, this was a great help.
The IP address on the plotter or in SignLab was off by one digit.
Changed it in SignLab.
UP AND RUNNING!!
