Hi Cadlink users

I'm getting Grid Squares on imported artwork text and artwork , how do i get rid of them

The Grid you are seeing, indicates there is an "Overprint" attribute to the object. Although it looks strange, it will not affect how it prints.

To remove the attribute, select the object and go to the Prime Palette at the bottom of the screen and check the option for Knockout.

If you do not see the Prime Palette, go to View > Palettes > Show Prime palette it will then show under the Shop Palette.

I get the same effect when I get artwork from a certain designer. I don't know if it is relevant but she is on a Mac. All I do is weld the area with the squares and you are done.
