TOPIC: Summa F1612

Summa F1612 3 months 4 weeks ago #6402

I just got a Summa F1612 cutter. I upgraded to Signlab v. 10 because this cutter was listed as being supported, but I cannot find it in the list of cutters available when trying to install in Signlab. How can I send jobs to this plotter through Signlab?

We run the Summa F1612 with Signlab Print and cut but you must setup the Visual Production Manager for it ( VPM )
The summa F1612 has its own program summaflex which you must use, it also has multiple toolheads.
When you select the Summa F1612 and you install it in VPM you can use all tools in one file if you like and we are much more flexible with the driver via VPM than we ever would be if we would output from Signlab direct.

(If you want to try outputting from Signlab you could install the Optiscout driver and setup up variable pen numbers in the colour palette and output as an OXF file into the summaflex folder).
Cutter options from VPM.
