TOPIC: CMYK formulas in palette

CMYK formulas in palette 8 months 2 weeks ago #6414

How do I get the palette to use CMYK instead of RGB formulas. I don't print and my printer guy uses the CMYK which will give me the color I want. I can make a new color with CMYK and add it to the palette, but I would like them all to show CMYK.
Thanks.

I should have noted that I am using Signlab 8.0 Revision 1.

Click the button [...] to the left of the palette, click Load > set default.
Browse to the palettes folder in Signlab 8.0 Look to see if there is a Signlab cmyk default palette. (I do not have it loaded so cannot look to see what you have), select the CMYK palette file and click Open.

In Signlab click File > New.
The new palette will now be loaded.

NOTE: any previous jobs will load with the palette they were created with, you will need to use File > New to regain the new palette after opening an old job.

Importing older jobs rather than opening will keep the CMYK palette and add the rgb colours used at the end of the cmyk colours in the shop palette for that job.

I didn't see any CMYK in any of the palettes, but at the bottom I found Factory Default that at least got it back to RGB! I was worried for a couple minutes.
Thanks.
