CADlink Launches Digital Factory V2 Print and Cut

OTTAWA, ON—April 23, 2010

Digital Factory V2 Print and Cut is CADlink’s latest RIP software release that is targeted specifically towards signmakers, vehicle wrap specialists and other markets where an integrated print and cut workflow is required.

Unlike other RIP software packages that were initially only designed for digital printing and have to rely on third party software and plug-ins to support cutting, CADlink leverages it’s 20 year expertise in cutting technology to integrate full print and cut workflows directly within the RIP software. The end result is a seamless print and cut workflow that is extremely easy to use.

Digital Factory Print and Cut supports hundreds of wide format printers as well as hundreds of roll-fed and flatbed cutters. Supporting generic as well as machine-specific registration systems enables a quick and accurate print, then cut on a separate device workflow. All popular hybrid print/cut devices are also supported. The single greatest time saver of this product is the ability to create multiple queues that can be used for combined print and cut workflows, or to send print-only or cut-only jobs directly from all popular design applications such as, CorelDraw™, Adobe Illustrator™ and Adobe PhotoShop™.
